Dive Trips FAQs
The dive sites are all within a 40 minute boat ride from Tonsai bay. This means that there is little travel time and more time to enjoy the dive sites and the beautiful islands. Most dive trips last around 5 hours.
Divers should wait a minimum of 18 hours after their last dive before taking a flight or ascending to altitude.
The Adventure Club has 4 boats.
We have 2 main dive boats Reef Ranger and Rozana. Both boats are 20 meters, and fully equipped with safety equipment, toilets, showers sundecks etc. Having two main dive boats allows us to provide a greater range of dive sites to choose from on a daily basis, which gives divers doing a multi day dive package a greater choice of dive sites.
Our two smaller boats we use for transfer services, snorkeling trips, or as a back up safety boat if needed when doing the Kled Gaeow Wreck trip.
Reefseeker is a 12 meter longtail boat which is great for relaxing snorkeling trips.
Blade Runner is our 6 meter RIB with 200cc Suzuki outboard engine that allows us to provide an affordable pick up service for guests staying on the other side of the island.
Guests arriving on the morning ferry will not be able to join our morning trips which depart very early, but, will be able to join our afternoon dive trip or one of our afternoon snorkeling trips.
Our morning trips return to base before 1200h. This allows guests plenty of time to take a shower and relax before taking the ferry back to the mainland.
We offer a discount from the published prices for guests that bring part, or all of their own equipment. It is not necessary to inform us of this prior to arrival and your invoice is adjusted accordingly.
For morning trips, check-in must be done the day or evening before the trip. For afternoon trips, we can accept check-in before 1100h on the day of the trip. This allows us to prepare all the dive equipment, meals and assign staff ahead of time.
Registration involves providing some personal information and proof of diver certification and logged dives. Most of the registration can be completed through our convenient online CRM system. Although some things may need to be checked at the dive center such as equipment sizes, cert cards and final payment.

Booking FAQs
Since we accept only small groups per staff member, it means we are restricted to the amount of staff we have and therefore we are sometimes full. It is advisable to book in advance if you are sure of the dates.
Our tours are scheduled to leave at certain times. Tours that are leaving in the morning need to be booked at least the day before so that we can prepare the equipment and staff. It is possible, sometimes, to book a trip in the morning that is going out in the afternoon. All booking acceptances are subject to our permitted group sizes.
Booking online means you will save up to 20% on most of our packages. We accept walk-in bookings, but then you’ll not take advantage of the early bird online discount. And there is the risk of us being fully booked.
There are a couple of ways to book.
Online
- You can book online by using our website. For most programs we only require a 10% deposit for most programs which is payable via PAYPAL.
- Snorkeling trips and transportation services require full payment
Walk-in
- You can book at the dive center a day before the trip, or before 1130h when doing our afternoon trip.
- Walk-in bookings are subject to having available staff and/ or available spots on the boats
Yes you can book directly at the center, as long as we have spaces and staff available.
For early morning trips, guests need to book and register at least one day before. This is because we need to make preparations and assign staff in advance in order to be well organized.
For afternoon trips it is possible to book and register in the morning before 1130h, however whenever possible it is better to do this the day before.
Upon receipt of notification of payment, we shall send you an email that contains:
- The details of the booking
- The link to register online (which will save the guest time, upon arrival)
- The google link to our location
- The procedure on how to check in
Don’t worry. We are flexible and accommodating. Should you enter the wrong date or detail we can easily change it at our end.
In order to participate in any of our trips you will need to get accommodation on Phi Phi Island. This is due to a few things.
- Our dive center is located on Phi Phi island and we cannot send our boat to the mainland to collect guests.
- The morning ferry arrives at Phi Phi Island at 1100h and leaves at 1430h. This does not allow enough time to do our trip and be back in time to catch the ferry

Once a digital manual has been issued and redeemed by the guest that product is no longer refundable. If the guest wishes to cancel the course they will forfeit the cost of the digital certification paks.
If the guest is unable to make it to the ferry in time, then the guest will need to re-purchase a new ticket and the fee for the previous ticket is not refunded
Students will only pay for any materials used and for the completed portions of the training, in the event they are not able to complete the course

Getting To Phi Phi Island FAQs
Our drivers monitor the status of flights so are aware if the flight has been delayed. In the event of any delays our drivers will be waiting at the terminal at the newly posted arrival time.

There are a number of ferries operating from the same port at the same time. Although unusual in the event the ferry is full it is possible to put on one of the other ferries.
Ferry services are usually able to run throughout the year. However there are a couple of times each year that the weather conditions may not permit the ferries to run as per schedule, but his happens rarely.
Speedboats are available for private transfers, although this option is more suited for larger groups that can share the cost or for persons that are not restricted to any budget. Please see our page Private Speedboat Sevices for more information.
Ferries to and from Phi Phi Island run at fixed schedules. The last ferry is between 1430h – 1530h. Visitors that wish to transfer directly from their flight to a ferry should ensure they have enough time for the transfer between the airport and the pier before the last ferry departure. For more information about Ferry Schedules
Ferry tickets are readily available at the ticket desks at the piers prior to embarking. It is not necessary to book in advance, but obtaining them through us will save time and hassle. Please visit this page for more information: Ferry Tickets
There is not much difference in the time or the schedules to get to Phi Phi Island via either Phuket or via Krabi. The only reason would be whether one or the other is more convenient in terms of transit from Bangkok.
