The Coral Reef Marine Ecology Course is an introduction to coral reef ecology, for divers interested in learning how to view the reef scientifically. This one day course is considered a prelude to the full 3 day Ecological Monitoring Program. Upon completing 2 lectures students will conduct one Reef Safari Dive to identify the indicator species that they have selected as their preferred subject. This is followed by collecting actual sample data during the EMP dive, on either Fish species, Invertebrate species or Reef Substrate types.

|National Park Fees|
The National Park Fees are not included. The National park fees for this course will be 600 baht for 1 day's diving. National park fees are paid directly to the national park rangers at the pier before boarding the dive boat

Divers must wait at least 18 hours after scuba diving prior to boarding an airplane. Not allowing enough time between the last dive and then going to altitude is potentially dangerous
