The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course will take you to the next level and extend your dive depth limitations to 40 meters and new possibilities. The course is conducted around the Phi Phi Islands and each dive focuses on a different aspect of deep diver training.

Some students may have already done a PADI Adventure Deep dive which can be accredited towards the specialty certification.

This course includes 4 Adventure Dives plus the PADI Deep Diver Digital certification Pak. This means you can study all of the theory before you come to Phi Phi Island.

Description

THEORY

  • Theory is conducted in our air-conditioned classrooms. Students watch a the PADI Deep Diver Specialty video and read the read the PADI Deep Diver Specialty manual. Theory for this specialty takes around 2-3 hours.

SMALL GROUPS

  • We allow only four students per instructor. This allows us to maximize the level of training for each individual student and provide a personal experience for each student. Each student is always under the direct supervision of a PADI Scuba Instructor.

PADI DIGITAL LITE™

  • As part of our goal to reduce our carbon footprint we only provide PADI Digital manuals. We register each student an online manual which they may download and get studying straight away. This way students can get the reading out of the way before they arrive.

4 DEEP DIVES

  • The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course consists of 4 deep training dives ranging from 18 meters down to 40 meters. Our program will also include dives at the Kled Gaeow Wreck, Bida Nog Island. The 4 dives are conducted over two days with 2 dives on each trip.

WHAT DO WE SEE

  • Phi Phi Island dive sites are abundant with marine life. Turtles, schools of snappers, black tip reef sharks, moray eels, lionfish, clownfish, groupers, baracudas, leopard sharks, sea horses, nudibranchs, pufferfish, parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish and the list goes on, and on, and on….

BUFFET LUNCH

  • During the trip we provide refreshments, fruit, water, tea, and coffee. Between the two dives there is a short break to enjoy the beautiful bays, during which we provide a delicious buffet of Thai cuisine. If you have any special dietary needs we can take care of that request during the registration process.

Awarded a ‘Gold’ PADI Deep Diver Specialty certificate permits the diver to rent scuba diving equipment and to enjoy a greater variety of dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters.

BCD, Regulator, Mask, Fins, Wetsuit, Tanks and Weights

We a have a choice of two dive boats depending on which dive sites trip are visited.

Reef Ranger is a well maintained 19 meters dive boat with sundeck, comfortable seating toilets, showers and easy diving.

Reef Seeker is our large longtail boat which offers a different experience and also allows us to visit the beaches.

National Park fees are applied to scuba divers diving within the Had Noppharathara National Park

Health for Diving

All persons engaging in scuba diving should be of good health. We strongly recommend students check out the medical statement to ensure they are healthy enough to scuba dive. Persons that do have a history of specific illnesses may not be allowed to dive.

Experience required

Must be Open Water certified to participate in this course.

National Park Fees

The National Park Fees are not included. The National park fees for this course will be 600 baht. National park fees are paid directly to the national park rangers at the pier before boarding the dive boat

Flying after Diving

Divers must wait at least 18 hours after scuba diving prior to boarding an airplane. Not allowing enough time between the last dive and then going to altitude is potentially dangerous
