Description

PADI Divemaster

PADI Divemaster

Duration – 3-6 weeks

CERTIFICATION

  • Awarded a ‘Gold’ PADI Rescue Diver is the next obvious step to improving our confidence and our ability to look after each other before, during and after dives. Being well prepared is the key to avoiding problems and in case they do occur, knowing how to deal with them.

THEORY

  • Students study 5 chapters of the PADI Rescue Diver manual. As part of our package we register each student their personal version of the PADI Digital LITE™ manual, which they may download and study ahead of their arrival to Phi Phi island. Upon arrival the instructors simulate rescue scenarios that the students need to envision and manage.

SMALL GROUPS

  • We allow only four students per instructor. This allows us to maximize the level of training for each individual student and provide a personal experience for each student. Each student is always under the direct supervision of a PADI Scuba Instructor.

CONFINED WATER TRAINING

  • Students start training the rescue skills in confined water conducted at the beach. Students learn to manage emergencies in various scenarios, both at the surface and underwater. During rescue simulations the students will be putting to use the knowledge learnt during the PADI Emergency First Response course.

4 INCREDIBLE DIVES

  • The PADI Rescue Diver course will include 4 dives. These are conducted at incredible dive sites around the Phi Phi Islands. During some of the dives we shall practice some of the rescue skills learnt in confined water. But don’t worry, it’s not all work. You get to fun dive too! This trip also allows divers to take in the beautiful views if the surrounding islands and bays.

WHAT DO WE SEE

  • Phi Phi Island dive sites are abundant with marine life. Turtles, schools of snappers, black tip reef sharks, moray eels, lionfish, clownfish, groupers, baracudas, leopard sharks, sea horses, nudibranchs, pufferfish, parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish and the list goes on, and on, and on….

BUFFET LUNCH

  • During the trip we provide refreshments, fruit, water, tea, and coffee. Between the two dives there is a short break to enjoy the beautiful bays, during which we provide a delicious buffet of Thai cuisine. If you have any special dietary needs we can take care of that request during the registration process.
