The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty also known as the ‘Nitrox Course’ provides diver training and understanding of using nitrox air which will allow the diver to stay down longer, and this can be a valuable commodity if you plan on doing deep wreck dives or wall dives. This course can be done as a dry course (no dives) or you can select one of our fantastic dive packages.
Duration – 5-6 hours
Watch the PADI Enriched Air Diver video and get a little taste of what diving on Nitrox is about. Get more No Decompression time on your dives extending those limited times on your deep dives. Diving on enriched air is safer in the long run as you absorb less nitrogen into your system. This PADI eLearning course is invaluable to the regular diver.

Students can study ahead of time by reading the Digital Lite version of the PADI Enriched Air Diver manual in the comfort of their own home and take as much time as they like. As part of this program we shall provide the student an email containing the access codes to download their own the personal PADI Digital Lite™ Enriched Air Diver manual.
This manual can be downloaded and read offline. Once a student has been registered for a Digital Lite manual they will receive and email with directions on how to download the manual.
The manual is part of the certification pak which will also include the certification credit which will be used to certify the student upon completion of the course.

Awarded a ‘Gold’ PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty certificate permits the diver to rent nitrox tanks and dive on nitrox air.
Using nitrox-enriched air will allow the diver to have longer bottom time, due to a higher percentage of oxygen in the tank. This will also allow for shorter surface intervals, due to lower nitrogen levels in the body after the dive.
As part of our goal to reduce our carbon footprint we only provide PADI Digital manuals. We register each student an online manual which they may download and get studying straight away. This way students can get the reading out of the way before they arrive.
Theory is conducted in our air-conditioned classrooms. Students watch a the PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty video and read the read the PADI Enriched Diver Specialty manual. Theory for this specialty takes around 5-6 hours.
The PADI Enriched Diver Air Specialty course does not include any dives. Students need only complete the theory for the course and test nitrox-filled tanks. However students can choose to add a variety of packages such as our Amazing Two Dive package or our Kled Gaeow Wreck trip which will include dives to the very best dive sites such as the Bida islands, Kled Gaeow Wreck and Phi Phi Ley Island.

As part of the training for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course students must study 5 chapters of the PADI Adventures In Diving manual (1 for each dive). We provide the PADI Digital LITE™ Adventures In Diving Manual which allows students to read the material prior to arriving.
We send the student an email with the access codes to download the manual.
Day 1 – Adventure Dive #1 and #2
0700h – 1200h: Boat trip with 2 PADI Adventure dives
Day 2 – Adventure Dive #3, #4 and #5 (Adventure Night Dive)

The Department of National Parks (DNP) announced national park fees effective from February 2015.
