COURSE DIRECTOR – Julian Pirie

PADI Course Director Julian Pirie began his professional diving career as a marine archaeologist working on underwater Roman sites and shipwrecks around the Mediterranean. Julian’s passion for teaching lead him to transition to developing professional divers full time across the Philippines and Thailand over the last decade. Now based in Koh Tao, he is one of the most active Course Directors in the world running double digit programs a year. IDC’s with Julian take a modern approach leveraging the PADI digital suite of products and giving you access to his unique online lessons and training materials to augment your knowledge before the program begins live. GETTING STARTED

PADI’s eLearning option lets you study independently at your own pace before class. The PADI IDC now includes PADI’s eLearning as the standard pre-IDC training method.

There are nine interactive knowledge development sections. Pre-studying online saves classroom time, which allows more time for practicing the skills that distinguish you as a PADI Instructor.
Upon signing up for our PADI IDC we shall register for you the PADI Digital IDC Online Pak. This will need to be completed before starting the IDC.

Online Presentations

The advantage of online training allows our students to be fully prepared before they arrive at our dive center to complete the Instructor development. This allows our course director to cover areas of the knowledge development and prepare the candidates for the instructor exams. This then lets us focus on the in-water training during the dates when the candidates are on site at our dive center on Phi Phi Island.
