THEORY

  • As PADI Scuba Divers students will have already completed three modules in the first course and only need to study the final 2 modules of theory of the PADI Open Water Diver course. This involves watching a video for each module and completing the PADI Knowledge Reviews. The final exam is conducted at the end.

SMALL GROUPS

  • We allow only four students per instructor. This allows us to maximize the level of training for each individual student and provide a personal experience for each student. Each student is always under the direct supervision of a PADI Scuba Instructor.

CONFINED WATER TRAINING

  • There are only 2 modules of confined water training needed to complete the training for the SD to OW Upgrade. We conduct the confined water training at the beach which is a fantastic location for the training. During this time we shall also review the skills learnt previously while doing the Scuba Diver course.

2 AMAZING DIVES

  • Finally to complete the upgrade there will be a boat trip with two amazing open water dives. The best dive sites are within a 45 minute boat ride from our base, so that means more time enjoying the views at Phi Phi Ley Island and at the Bida islands. The diving at these locations is spectacular.

WHAT DO WE SEE

  • Phi Phi Island dive sites are abundant with marine life. Turtles, schools of snappers, black tip reef sharks, moray eels, lionfish, clownfish, groupers, baracudas, leopard sharks, sea horses, nudibranchs, pufferfish, parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish and the list goes on, and on, and on….

BUFFET LUNCH

  • During the trip we provide refreshments, fruit, water, tea, and coffee. Between the two dives there is a short break to enjoy the beautiful bays, during which we provide a delicious buffet of Thai cuisine. If you have any special dietary needs we can take care of that request during the registration process.
